Paintball Tactics | How to stay alive using tactics

All paintball games are all about tactics, if you’ve ever watched Pro Paintballers playing Speedball you will see them sprinting to pre designated spots on the field so they can get the best vantage point. In a scenario game, if your team isn’t using tactics your almost always going to loose.

Flanking

Flanking is all about getting behind or the side of your opponent, the essentially makes their cover useless making them a much easier target for your paint. Why would you want to do this? Well if your head 2 head with an opponent, you are both behind cover and are shooting at each other all you’re doing is wasting paint. Paintball SkewlHave a great guide on Flanking, in their post “What a Flanker”.

Pinching

Pinching is an effective method of clearing the last bunker, basically you attack the bunker from both sides. There is a great guide to this method on Dave Evans site Paintball Tactics

Keep in Shape

Although not really a tactic, it would be a good idea to stay in shape in the off season, so you’re ready to fight again when the season starts again
There is a good guide to this on the Paintball-Guns site. Some of he exercises include, Snap shooting and one on one Drills.
